New 2FA Verification Option in the Shop Panel with a Mobile App

We are pleased to announce that a new two-factor authentication (2FA) option has been introduced in our shop panel. Now you can use mobile applications such as Google Authenticator or Authy (Twilio) to additionally secure your account. With this method, when logging in from a new device, a one-time code generated by the app on your phone will be required.

Advantages of the New 2FA Method with an App

Below are some of the key features of the new two-factor authentication method.

  • Increased security: Makes it difficult for unauthorized persons to access the account, even if they know the password.
  • Ease of use: Intuitive mobile apps allow quick code generation.
  • Versatility: Ability to choose between Google Authenticator and Authy by Twilio.

Shop Update

The update to the latest version SOTESHOP 8.3.1 can be downloaded from the shop update panel: Update Documentation

Attention!

When updating the store, make sure that all packages are downloaded. For some updates (e.g., two-factor authentication), it is required to download additional packages again and perform another update.

Skipping this step can cause login problems. In such a situation, go directly to the update panel (www.example/update.php) and complete the store update.
