'New InPost Integration'

Important information for stores using integration with InPost Paczkomaty. Necessary contact with InPost - to maintain service continuity.

We have prepared an update connecting SOTESHOP with the new InPost Shipx API. InPost is disabling the current API (tool for integration with online stores), so switching to the new integration is necessary.

The update will be released by us on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. After uploading it to the store, the current integration with the Paczkomats will stop working. We ask you to contact Inpost now for a token for the new API - generating the token takes about 2 working days, and it is necessary to activate the new version of the integration with InPost.

What needs to be done to get the Shipx API token?

To get the Shipx API token, use the form: https://inpost.pl/formularz-wsparcie, in which you need to select in order:

1. "I have a question about integration"

2. Then: "granting access to API"

3. Then select the type of API:

4. In "Type of service" select only "Paczkomats".

When to introduce the new API

On Wednesday, February 26, 2020, the SOTESHOP 7.6.2 version will be released. After updating the store to the new version, you must enter the new key in the store's administrative panel (in the InPost Paczkomats configuration).

If you want to receive an email notification about the new version, join the SOTE Club.

Attention! If the store uses InPost Paczkomats and does not have a new key, do not update the store to the new version, as the new integration does not work with the old key.

After updating the store and changing the key in the store, the new InPost integration system will work. We encourage you to place a test order in your store for additional verification.
