A new law that came into effect in Poland on January 1, 2023 requires not only product price histories, but also proper labeling of customer reviews. Reviews confirmed by purchase must be specially marked. Update your store and adjust it to legal requirements.
Under the changes introduced by the Omnibus Directive, it will be considered an unfair practice to mislead consumers by referring to product reviews from consumers who have not actually used the product. The seller will therefore be required to indicate whether and how it verifies a given review as to whether it comes from a person who actually used or purchased the product. In addition, it will also be considered misleading to post (or have someone else post) other false reviews or recommendations from consumers.

As part of the standard updates, we have added changes to the presentation of reviews to comply with the new law. The mechanisms for adding and confirming reviews were already in the SOTESHOP 8 online store, but a change in the labeling of reviews was required.
