GPSR - Additional Product Safety Information

We have introduced a new feature in SOTESHOP that makes it easier for sellers to add product safety information on the product page. This solution was developed in response to the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR), which obligates manufacturers and sellers to provide consumers with detailed safety information regarding product usage.

Product Safety Information

With the new feature, you can easily add instructions, warnings, and other safety-related data to each product. This is particularly important in the context of GPSR regulations, which emphasize transparency and consumer protection. The update enables quick and convenient management of safety information, as well as compliance with the new legal requirements effective from December 2024.

To facilitate data entry, we have added a mechanism that allows you to include predefined texts and easily assign them to products. Multiple texts can be assigned simultaneously. Check out the new features in the documentation.

Changes Effective from December 13, 2024

The EU GPSR regulation takes effect on December 13, 2024, and by this time, every store should update the necessary data for each manufacturer whose products are offered in the store, as well as the safety information for those products requiring it.
